How Do You Like Them Apples?

How Do You Like Them Apples?

Crispy Apple Nachos

Ingredients

  • 2 crisp apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji work well), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips or a drizzle of melted chocolate
  • Optional: chopped nuts, granola, or dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Arrange apple slices in a single layer on a serving plate.
  2. Warm the nut butter slightly so it’s easier to drizzle.
  3. Drizzle nut butter over apples.
  4. Sprinkle with coconut and chocolate chips (or drizzle chocolate).
  5. Serve immediately for maximum crunch.

Warm Cinnamon Air-Fried Apple Rounds

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, cored and cut into ½-inch thick rounds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar or brown sugar (optional)
  • Light spray of cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly spray apple rounds with cooking oil.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon (and sugar if using).
  4. Air fry for 6–8 minutes until tender but not mushy.
  5. Enjoy warm — they taste like mini apple pies without the crust.
