Turning Games Into Flavor-Packed Recipes

Turning Games Into Flavor-Packed Recipes

As a full time food content creator, there are always challenges that I face when working with brands. I always push myself creatively to keep my videos authentic while showcasing each brand in a unique way. When I partnered with Cafe Casino, the challenge was clear that I had to get into a creative mindset and link online games to recipes. I was ready, and it turns out that stepping outside my comfort zone really elevated the video.

It was intimidating at first to film the first one. I had to come up with an inspiring recipe that related to the games they offered, while also keeping my audience in mind and making sure the content stayed relevant and engaging. When I checked out Cafe Casino’s games, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety, and I quickly had so many recipe ideas flowing.

Blazin’ Buffalo Extreme Chicken Sandwich

When I saw the Blazin’ Buffalo Extreme game, I instantly thought about a hot buffalo sauce chicken sandwich. To balance the flavors, I added a cucumber salad inside, bringing freshness that pairs perfectly with the spicy buffalo. The combination easily makes it one of the best flavor bombs.

    1. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

Instant Inferno Crying Tiger Beef

Instant Inferno reminded me of something that will combust instantly. I wanted to incorporate hot with something unexpected. I came up with Crying Tiger sauce that has notes of hot and sour flavors. I made Crying Tiger sauce with beef tenderloin, which is a delicate and tender cut of beef. These two combined would shock your taste buds with texture and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce

  • 1/3 cup Lime Juice
  • about 2 limes

  • 1 teaspoon toasted ground rice (If making your own, toast 2 Tablesppons of Sweet Glutinous Rice with Lime Leaves and grind to a fine powder

)
  • 2 teaspoon thai chili pepper Use more or less depending on your spice level. Can sub red pepper flakes or fresh Thai chilis.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro Chopped

  • 2 tablespoon Green Onion Chopped

  • 1 tablespoon Water *Taste the sauce first and add water as needed to make it less concentrated.
  • Beef tenderloin (For perfect cook and sear)
  • Ciabatta Baguette

Cucumber salad

  • 1 whole cucumber sliced
  • Green onions
  • Lime juice
  • Sesame oil
  • Fish sauce
  • Crying tiger sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Crushed red pepper
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Zero calorie sugar

Instructions:

  1. Salt tenderloin and let sit on a wire rack in room temp for 15 minutes
  • Get the tenderloin in your oven on the wire rack at 280F till an internal of 120F is reached
  • Heat a frying pan hot and add some neutral oil like avocado oil and place tenderloin in pan add slight pressure to tenderloin while frying or add a weight to hold it down flat for a few minutes on each side till a nice crust is formed
  • Remove from heat and place on a wire rack to rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Slice against the grain and sprinkle with salt
  • Add all ingredients of cucumber salad to a container and shake well.
  • Spread Mayo and old style mustard on a Ciabatta baguette and top with the steak, sauce and cucumber salad.

Red Hot Chili Bells Wings

With its burst of color and heat, Red Hot Chili Bells inspired me to go bold with Asian flavors.  Since wings are one of my favorites, I made a sweet chili sauce to pour over crispy, air-fried wings. The mix of sweetness and heat makes them irresistible — the kind of dish that brings everyone to the table.

All of these videos reached over 100,000 views in the first few days and continue to grow. What I once thought was a scary and difficult product to intertwine with my audience and brand is now something that I get excited about because it pushes me out of my comfort zone and into a more creative space. I’m happy to be working with Cafe Casino, and I’m also glad they are a great fit with my audience and my brand. With such a wide variety of games to explore, I’ll never run out of inspiration for new recipes. There is always another flavor story waiting to be told.
